The story
Welcome to Minos Bureau of Crisis Control. As the Chief, you are obligated to Shackle and Control the most vicious outlaws—Sinners, to Protect the city from falling. Hold on to the light in the darkness and salvage hope from despair.
What it’s like
Cold, desaturated tones and a hand-drawn sheen give this mobile tactical game an unsettling, storybook-dark look, with muted greys, rust and sickly teal punctuated by small pools of warm lamplight over the city's crumbling streets. Battles play out on a compact grid from a fixed overhead angle, with rhythmic clicks, distant metallic thrums and eerie synth drones that swell when the Sinners break through. Its mood is bleak and ominous yet quietly determined, a cosmic-horror atmosphere where hope flickers in the dark. The pace is deliberate: planning and positioning stretch out between sharp, tense skirmishes, so it suits a focused evening session or a long stretch on a phone. Story beats land in dialogue-heavy interludes, following a commander slowly confronting the cost of holding a fading city together. Violence is stylised and cartoonish rather than gory, but the Lovecraftian dread, grim imagery and sense of impending collapse make it weighty. It is for strategy fans who enjoy tower-defence tension, eerie post-apocalyptic worlds and narrative-driven campaigns.
