The story
An egoistic real estate broker in huge debts, meets with an accident. As he gains consciousness, he realizes that he is in heaven. God appears before him and informs him that he must play a 'Game of Life'. If he manages to win, he will be sent back to earth; if he loses, he will be sent to hell.
What it’s like
A broad, chatty Hindi comedy with a premise that stays light even when it touches death: a man wakes up somewhere unexpectedly celestial and has to bargain his way back to life. Expect the bright, mainstream studio look of a commercial comedy, with quick cuts, mugging performances, and a score that leans on cheerful, comic cues rather than atmosphere. The vibe is buoyant and slapstick-leaning, a lively weekend watch or a easy evening with friends, more chuckles than belly laughs. Pacing is brisk and the arc follows a self-centred man slowly softening, the sort of redemption story where the laughs do most of the work. Intensity is mild: a crash at the start, and otherwise no sustained violence, sexual content or real dread. Good for people who want something funny and undemanding that will not leave them unsettled, especially fans of Bollywood comedy and star-driven ensemble entertainment.
