The story

Follow the misadventures of the Black Hat Org. with evil handyman Black Hat and his less evil aides Dr. Flugslys, Demencia, 5.0.5, Cam Bot, and Penumbra.

What it’s like

Bold, flat-colored 2D animation with angular, exaggerated character designs, mostly set in gothic-cartoon lairs and moody purple-and-crimson night skies that flip into bright, saturated cartoon colour when a scheme goes off. The camera stays lively and theatrical: quick cuts, big reaction close-ups, and sudden zooms that land a joke. The score is a jaunty, punchy orchestral mix with plenty of comic stings and sound effects that do much of the storytelling. Each short episode runs on brisk, gag-driven rhythm, and the tone is wry, cheeky and affectionate, a villain-POV comedy where the bad guys are petty, vain and overconfident rather than truly menacing. Intensity is cartoon-level: slapstick peril, characters getting flattened, blasted or dropped, and frequent sight gags, but no gore, no sexual content and nothing frightening for long. The arcs are light and episodic, with a recurring cast of scheming misfits trying to outwit a hero and mostly undoing themselves. It suits a lazy weekend afternoon, a comfort rewatch, or family viewing, and it is for people who want a playful, irreverent take on villainy with bright visuals and gentle, low-stakes chaos.
