The story

A persistent browser MMO set in a 1:1 scale solar system built on real NASA MOLA/LOLA altimetry data, with real orbital physics. Explore the planets, mine asteroids in real-time skill-based instances, refine and craft using a periodic-table economy, trade in a player-driven market, and fight aliens in a fully cooperative universe where nothing ever resets. Free to play, no download — runs in any browser, including mobile.

What it’s like

Cold, vast and quietly methodical, this is a game of hard vacuum rendered in a flat, schematic browser style: starfields that hang perfectly still, planetary surfaces built from real altimetry so that craters and rilles read as genuine terrain, and orbits that drift and burn with honest physics. The palette leans on deep blacks, pale greys of regolith and the cold glints of ore and hull plating, with thruster flares and alien weapon fire providing the only warm colour against the dark. Sound is sparse: a low ambient hum, the clipped rhythm of mining drills, long silences between events, and sudden sharp cues when something hostile appears. The pace is slow and deliberate, built around orbital timing, resource loops and patient skill checks rather than frantic action, and the world keeps running whether or not you are there, so progress feels accumulated rather than reset. Violence is present but abstract: ship-on-ship and alien combat with bright impacts and debris, no gore and no sexual content, with a steady undercurrent of tension rather than fear. It suits a long, focused evening or a relaxed session on a phone during a commute, and it is for players who enjoy systems, spreadsheets of ore and trajectory, and the quiet satisfaction of a shared, persistent universe.
