The story

She can see dead people…she just chooses to ignore them. That’s Miko’s plan, anyway, with horrifying (and sometimes hilarious) results.

What it’s like

Bright, flat-colored anime frames with clean linework and soft pastel backgrounds, where the everyday classroom and suburban streets look sunny and ordinary until something grotesque slides into the corner of the screen. The mood swings between sunny high-school comedy and sudden jolts of creeping horror, with ghosts drawn in unsettling detail and often played for deadpan laughs. Sound leans on bouncy pop-leaning incidental music and bright chatter, dropping into eerie stillness or a sharp sting when a spirit appears. Episodes are short and brisk, built on quick gags and punchy reaction shots. Intensity is moderate: frequent creepy imagery and jump-scare moments, some gore-tinged grotesquerie, but no real violence against people and the scares are mostly played for laughs. Suits a lazy afternoon, a light background watch, or a fan of comedic horror who wants fright without dread settling in. Best for viewers who enjoy a teen protagonist's dry, stubborn humor and a spooky premise that never gets too heavy.
