The story

Embark on a journey to a realm overrun by demons in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, a new epic RPG from the creators of the critically acclaimed Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Explore the nature of good and evil, learn the true cost of power, and rise as a Mythic Hero capable of deeds beyond mortal expectations.

What it’s like

Dense isometric fantasy painted in warm parchment tones and lurid hellfire, with the camera pulled high over crowded battlefields and quiet camp scenes lit by campfire orange. Its soundscape leans on orchestral swells for the big confrontations and sparse, reflective strings when the party rests, while the menus and dialogue screens keep a tabletop-book formality that suits a long, deliberate session. Turn-based combat is methodical rather than frantic: each fight is a puzzle of positioning, spell timing and party synergy, paced to be played in focused stretches over many evenings. The mood is earnest and grand with a steady undercurrent of moral unease, the feeling of walking through a ruined, demon-scarred land while slowly deciding what kind of hero you will be. Intensity is moderate: violence is frequent but stylised and bloodless in tone, with some grim imagery of demonic corruption and dark, mature themes handled in dialogue rather than gore. Romance and relationships with recruitable companions, including LGBTQ+ storylines, are woven through the camp conversations. Made for players who love tabletop-rooted crawls, deep character builds and choices that linger long after the battle ends.
